About

I am a Secular Humanist, married to a Roman Catholic, with two children, Buddy and Sissy. Buddy is on the autism spectrum. When I was a child I was diagnosed with autistic tendencies, though never fully put on the spectrum. Somehow I grew up and became a mental health counselor, and I definitely bring a unique perspective to this world. If you’re interested in exploring a different way of looking at the world, you’ve come to the right place!

    Hey Froianna,

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I couldn’t find if you had an E-mail address or something I could post on with your blog/livejournal. I don’t have accounts for that stuff, but just wanted to say it’s really cool you like the Slayers anime. I’ve been an anime fan for about 20 years now (currently in my early 30s) and it has been very difficult finding anyone to talk to that enjoys Japanese animation that isn’t a teenager. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten to talk to anyone who even enjoys older anime like Slayers or stuff from the 80s/90s.

Well, the fandom for it has definitely died down, but there are some persistent fans of Slayers still around keeping it going. I still keep hoping for a proper revival or a good adaptation of the later storylines. LOL, I can dream!

Do you have a Facebook or a chat or anything? It would be cool to be able to talk to someone my age for once about anime, especially Slayers since I grew up with it. Because of my career I always work weekends so I’ve never been able to go to anime conventions or anything like that.
